Welcome to Kaeb Sales, Inc! We’re hiring a full-time Automation Technician – Ag Equipment to join our team in Rensselaer, IN (about 45 miles north of Lafayette). In this role, you will be an integral part of our growing automation team. You will be responsible for building, wiring, troubleshooting, modifying, and installing controls systems within the agriculture sector -especially dairy equipment and automation. Flexibility is a must in our high-demand, ever-changing industry.
We are a family-owned business that has provided innovative milking and manure handling solutions within the dairy industry since 1989. We currently operate out of eight offices across five midwestern states, and maintain a small, tight-knit team.

What you will be doing:
- Build, install, and support custom-made control systems
- Complete preventive and corrective maintenance
- Systematically troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
- Follow safety policies and practices and uphold company policies and ethical standards
- Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and other teams while maintaining a positive work atmosphere
- Drive to customer sites to perform necessary work
- Be available for on-call shifts per the assigned schedule
What we’re looking for:
- Ability to read, understand, and modify PLC ladder logic (primarily AutomationDirect platforms -Productivity Series, CLICK, DirectLOGIC)
- Basic understanding of HMI programming software (C-more)
- Ability to wire, troubleshoot, understand, and repair 3 Phase 480VAC systems, 24VDC and 120VAC control systems, motor control circuits, and various analog sensors (pressure, temperature, etc.)
- Ability to wire and program VFDs
- Ability to use a DMM
- Ability to properly size wire and circuit protection
- Ability to read and comprehend various prints and schematics (electrical, pneumatic)
- Ability to maintain and/or change focus in fast-paced, time-sensitive projects
- Basic understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, serial, etc.)
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Broad mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends

- Dairy background and/or knowledge
- Experience installing electrical conduits

Welcome to Kaeb Sales, Inc! We’re hiring a full-time Service Technician – Ag Equipment to join our team in Rensselaer, IN. In this role, you will be an integral part of our growing Service team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, modifying, and installing dairy equipment, manure equipment, and refrigeration systems. Flexibility is a must in our high-demand, ever-changing industry.
We are a family-owned business that has provided innovative milking and manure handling solutions within the dairy industry since 1989. We currently operate out of eight offices across five midwestern states, and maintain a small, tight-knit team.
We offer competitive hourly wages from $18 – $35/hr depending on experience, plus benefits including 401(k) with match, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, overtime pay, on-call double pay, and bonus opportunities.
What you will be doing:
- Install and service various dairy equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs
- Provide after-hours support and communication to customers
- Maintain and operate work vehicle
- Drive to customer sites to perform necessary work
- Maintain a clean workspace and shop
- Be available for on-call shifts per the assigned schedule
What we’re looking for:
- Understanding of conventional and robotic milking and manure handling equipment (GEA, Lely)
- Ability to troubleshoot air compressors and commercial refrigeration systems
- General knowledge of dairy production systems and processes (CIP, milk handling, vacuum, cow care, etc)
- Fabrication and welding (Plasma table, lathe, TIG, MIG, stick)
- Ability to create 2D drawings and 3D models (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks)
- Ability to read and understand prints, diagrams, manufacturing packets, and manuals
- Ability to read and comprehend various prints and schematics (electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic)
Other qualifications:
- Agricultural background and/or knowledge

Welcome to Kaeb Sales, Inc! We’re hiring a full-time Service Technician – Ag/Dairy/Refrigeration Systems to join our team in Murfreesboro, TN. In this role, you will work remotely on the road supporting customers by troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and fabricating refrigeration systems, milking robots, and manure equipment for dairy farms.
We are a family-owned business that has provided innovative milking and manure handling solutions within the dairy industry since 1989. We currently operate out of eight offices across five midwestern states, and maintain a small, tight-knit team.

What you will be doing:
- Traveling to local farming and dairy customers to install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment such as milking robots, manure equipment, refrigeration systems, etc.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and repair
- Provide after-hours support and communication to customers
- Maintain and operate work vehicle
What we’re looking for:
- High mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools
- We prefer (but it is not required) someone with experience in refrigeration, air compressors, welding, electrical knowledge, basic plumbing, computer systems, and/or operating heavy machinery.
- Ability to read and understand prints, diagrams, manufacturing packets, and manuals
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Willingness to learn various systems
- Positive attitude with problem-solving mindset and great attention to detail
